The weekend-long festivities at the Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino will include all of the traditional Thai treasures: food, massages, dance, and will culminate with sixteen titled MuayThai fights

Primm, Nev. – December 5th, 2009, Dennis Warner, In Sync Productions and Primm Valley Casino Resorts join in the international celebrations, devoted to the birthday of the King of Thailand on December 5th, 2009 with an extensive lineup of exceptional Muay Thai professional and amateur fighters, who will battle for WBC, IKKC and IAMTF titles at the Star of Desert Arena of Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino. The festive weekend will include the cultural gems of Thailand: Thai cuisine at the buffet, traditional Thai dance, deep tissue and foot massages and, of course, world-class Muay Thai. The Primm Valley Casino Resorts offer something for everyone with golf on two award-winning courses, roller coaster, log flume and more, as well as a world-famous outlet mall.
The fight card is topped by the new WBC International Super welterweight champion Malaipet, who reclaimed the title from Richard Fenwick in July of this year in an epic battle, ending in TKO, and who will defend the title against James Cook of Fairtex. This is the second time the two will meet in the ring; their first encounter in 2003 left an unforgettable impression of non-stop action on the spectators.
Romie Adanza will defend his international title against Japanese Kunitaka Fujiwara, who is currently ranked as number 18 in the world by WBC MuayThai. Adanza’s recent fight history includes a WBC International Super bantamweight title fight against the British Paulo Da Silva at the Las Vegas Hilton earlier this year, where he TKOed his way to the victory in the fourth round.
The Las Vegas MuayThai fans will also have a chance to see several of the local top dogs in action: Kevin Ross will take on the East Coast star, Chike Lindsay-Ajudua; Shawn Yarborough will battle against Manson Gibson for a WBC National title. Chaz Mulkey, Scott Leffler and Jack Thames will also have a chance to show off their talent on the home field.
