George Bastmajyan’s Lights Out Promotions in association with INSYNC Productions will be putting on a a huge fight event at Hollywood Park Casino on May 5th that will have HyeFighters fighting in each and every bout. There are a number of intriguing fights on this card. Namely two fights, Edmond Tarverdyan and Georgi Karakhanyan’s fights.

Edmond Tarverdyan is an accomplished, experienced and Champion Muay Thai fighter, who has been training and coaching professional elite boxers and MMA fighters like Vanes Martirosyan, Gabriel Tolmajyan, UFC’s Manny Gamburyan, and the newly crowned Strikeforce Women’s MMA Champion Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey, who will most likely also be in attendance as special guests of this show. The other interesting fact is that Edmond also coaches and trains 2 other boxers who will also be fighting on this same card, Art Hovhannisyan and Azat Hovhanessyan. I think this may be a first in history, where a coach fights in one sport and then corners two other fighters in a different sport on the same card of an event. Think about it!!! Edmond will be making his MMA debut!!!
Georgi Karakhanyan, a newly crowned Thachi Placae Fights MMA Champion, will be making his professional boxing debut. Georgi is an exceptional athlete and has been training very hard in stand up fighting for his MMA fights and has always wanted to box. This will be his chance. The other 3 boxers on this card, Art Hovhannisyan, Vardan Gasparyan and Azat Hovhanessyan are exciting fighters that will bring some serious BANGING power. Their fights are NEVER boaring.

Roman Mitichyan and Sako Chivitchian were both members of UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter TV show (in different seasons) and are exciting fighters that are accomplished in MMA.

The Muay Thai fighters are young HyeFighters that have participated in this Muay Thai / Kickboxing sport regularly. You may not have heard of them before, but that doesn’t mean you will not hear of them in the future. These young warriors will be making a lot of noise in the combat sports world in the future.

LAS VEGAS – October 27, 2010 – WuLinFeng Las Vegas Spectacular is the latest in the series of very successful world-class martial arts productions, put together by collaborative efforts of In Sync Productions, Dennis Warner and Henan TV Network.  More than thirty million people tune in every week in China to watch the dramatic WuLinFeng show, the ultimate in stand up fighting, which tests Chinese fighters against fighters from the rest of the world.  WuLinFeng Las Vegas Spectacular is an exception to the rule, taking place outside of its home country.  However, the event of the November 13th will reveal the top dog team, USA or China.

“It has taken a whole year for WuLinFeng organization to select the Chinese fighters for this competition.  Each and every one of them had to earn their place in the team,” commented Dennis Warner, president of In Sync Productions.

Fighters, representing the United States on November 13th come from all parts of the country: Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, California, Arizona and Nevada.  They are the experienced combatants and the up and coming star.

Much tension surrounded the match up for Kang En, a former WBC MuayThai International champion after American fighter, Kevin Ross refused to defend his WBC MuayThai International title against Kang En.  Ben Yelle of Michigan will now take a chance against the Chinese icon.  Yelle’s TKO earlier this year against Ray Cole became a memorable performance for the California fan crowd.  Both fighters possess comprehensive elbow strike skills, and therefore will fight according to full rules.

Las Vegas favorite, Jack Thames will stand up to Guang Hong, the star of the Art of War championship and national champion of China.  Thames is coming off of two wins by KO and TKO against Mike Ryan of Los Angeles, and Eric Utsch of Penn. respectively.  Thames is also set for a re-match with Craig Buchanan for a WBC MuayThai National middleweight belt after a controversial fight result in April of this year.

Heath “Cowboy” Harris is stepping into the ring with the leader of the Chinese team Wang Hongxiang, who demonstrated a spectacular win over Joe Schilling last year in Las Vegas.  Harris is best-known for his knockouts, 28 knockouts out of 29 wins.

Two full-rules and seven modified-rules Muay Thai fights will make up the fight card at Harrah’s Las Vegas.  The modified bouts will operate in the three rounds/three minute structure and will not include elbows.

Los Angeles, Calif. — September 28, 2010 – Dennis Warner and In Sync Productions announce the first fight match up for the December 11, 2010 King of Thailand Birthday Celebration WCK MuayThai championship.  A fight of epic proportions will be staged at the Las Vegas Hilton between Miriam Nakamoto, a first American woman to win the WBC Muaythai World title and Julie Kitchen, dubbed as “The Queen of Muay Thai” for her unrelentless pursuit of world championship titles.

“This will be the greatest female fight of this decade,” commented Dennis Warner, the president of In Sync Productions. “This will be the Ali vs Frazier of female fighting.  Both of these women are recognized as the best stand-up pound-for-pound fighters in the world.  In Sync Productions has been promoting female stand up fighters since 1989, and Kitchen vs Nakamoto is certainly what the fans will rave about.  Las Vegas is a perfect location for the fight; it is not Julie’s home country, and not Miriam’s hometown.”

MIRIAM NAKAMOTO

Miriam Nakamoto made headlines last month when she knocked her opponent, Claire Haigh out in the first round on Hainan Island of China and went on to win the WBC MuayThai Lightweight World title at the In Sync Productions-promoted championship.  Julie Kitchen scored two wins against Haigh in the last year, both on points.

“The WBC is the most coveted belt in all of Muay Thai.  Miriam knocked three of her last opponents out, and this time I expect no different,” asserted Nakamoto’s coach Kirian Fitzgibbons, the owner of the Combat Sports Academy, Calif.  “I think it is very important for the WBC World belt to stay in the United States,” added Miriam Nakamoto. “And I will hurt anyone who tries to take it away from me.”

Julie Kitchen, born and raised in Cornwall, England is in many ways an unrivalled

champion; she holds 11 world titles in four different weight categories

and owns 22 championship belts.  She comes to the bright lights of Las Vegas to prove once and for all, that she is the best female Muay Thai fighter in the world, and to redeem herself after the unanimous decision loss she experienced when fighting Germaine de Randamie in Jamaica’s Champion of Champions event, promoted by In Sync Productions and Dennis Warner.

“Julie’s camp contacted me to put this fight together.  Lightweight division is the lowest in weight Julie fights in, but it is the toughest women’s division, formerly ruled by undefeated Germaine, and now, undefeated Miriam.  I like Julie’s determination, I see her going after the Super Lightweight and the Welterweight divisions of WBC,” commented Dennis Warner.

“My ultimate goal is the Welterweight WBC World title; the belt is fantastic and so is the Organization. I also like the idea of always being tested. When I took on Germaine, I wanted to fight and beat the best under full rules. It was very exciting.  I knew straight after the fight that I could have won,” commented Julie Kitchen.  Kitchen also co-owns the TouchGloves family-oriented martial arts and fitness club in Penzance, UK with her husband and coach, Nathan Kitchen.

Nakamoto is known for her strong hand work and heavy kicks.  Kitchen, on the other hand, is proficient in clinch work, has strong knees, and will, most certainly, keep distance with her notorious push kicks.

In addition, In Sync Productions and Julie Kitchen signed an exclusive fight promotion contract for the year 2011 for US-based fights.
